I was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but I've lived in LA now for almost 28 years. I am a ceramicist and an actor. I am happiest when I'm creating and making things. My maternal grandmother was an artist who made ceramics. When she passed away, I unfortunately didn't get any of the amazing bowls that she had thrown. So I decided, “I'm gonna make my own!” And I began taking ceramic classes locally in LA.

I began to learn to throw on the wheel, then got into hand building with clay. One thing led to another. A mistake turned into a weird vase that looked a little bit like ocean coral. All of this work, play and experimentation has sent me down the path that I'm on today. The textures and forms I use are often nature-inspired. My one of a kind ceramic corals and ocean-influenced pieces have been getting people’s attention, especially in light of the planet facing the warming of oceans and the bleaching of coral reefs. My eco-friendly ceramic pieces won't cause any harm. And hopefully, they’ll bring a little more awareness to this environmental crisis and the work that needs to be done. I’ll be donating 5% of my profits to organizations working to save our oceans and planet.

I believe that art is meant to be shared. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my pieces in other people’s homes and businesses. I do commissions, sell my pieces privately and in retail stores, including Nikey Kehoe, Dekor, and Ralph Lauren stores in the New York area.

I still feel like I'm on a journey creating art, never quite knowing where it will take me next. And all of this is very exciting to me.

Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. Thank you.
